I think the format reads very clearly and is quite straightforward. I think actual geometrical morphologies of the iMacs would be helpful. What are the formal constraints? Literally draw them in CAD or something over the plans/sections/elevations. Also showing the family of iMacs from each release might be interesting as well.

Everything is very clear and consice, the only real critiscim i have is that maybe the way you state your thesis could be more clear. Maybe i'm not reading it correctly but im not 100% sure what your specific goal or what you trying to get out reseach these Imac? Otherwise nice work keep it going!

I liked the timeline showing APPL's stock price as the iMac product line develped and advanced. Maybe there's a way to visually represent the advancements in technology in the line over time, such as processor speed, amount of RAM, etc? Or maybe compare those technical aspects with similar specs for competing products such as PC's, to try to show how the iMac was more/less technologically innovative than its competators?

Going off Nick's comment, it would be interesting to see them as pure silhouettes of their profile forms (this would go hand-in-hand with Apple's minimalistic design style and, because iMac's are so well known for their shape already, you wouldn't lose much information by keeping the visual clean and silhouetted). It would be interesting to analyze the evolution of their dimensions - you'd likely find a direct correlation between time and screen size while there'd be a negative correlation with time and body depths.

Overall it seems like a really intriguing study - they evolution of technology has allowed for some really extreme design changes and it's interesting to see them side by side.

Just when middle school couldn't get any worse they forced us to use these, oh the horror! I don't think you could diagram the evolution of the pc as clear as this one. each new model is a slightly improved version of the last. Were there any other factors that played into the design of the iMac besides more compact technology?

It would be very interesting to see the composition of the i mac design as the models changed. you state it is a designed object, and it very much is. .

Apple doesn't have a size for a simple reason, they use intelligent designers that know the tricks of the trade to capture attention to their products.

Finding these underlying design principles and diagramming them would be very interesting.

I liked the presentation, it was easy follow. I think the thesis may need to be stated differently now that you have gone through information for this project. Maybe another step would be to look at why the desktop computer is declining. From the technology side what has the evolution of the laptop, as well as ipads, and iphone, done differently. Will there ever be a need for desktop computers in the future?

imagery seems weak. alot of white space on each sheet.
