Travis, your topic is compelling as it tells a story we are all at least somewhat familiar with and have had some sort of relationship with. A few comments about the graphics. I like that you are not afraid of text, but you may benefit from a few subjective notes. Play with the text size and kerning. Emphasize certain words and play with their appearances and sizes in relation to their meaning...or reject that and try and embed your own language within the text (i.e. irony). Nice work
I can appreciate that you looked at this topic, it's one of those times of communal gatherings that aren't often spoken about. The idea of stages is great, I would like to see more stages within the timeline. Maybe you can link in the times of media coverage? although I think that could possibly get into a whole nother beast. But definitely add events that trigger those stages.
With digital media becoming so prolific in the exchange of information, and the broad availability to the public, do you predict a more liberal country will be created be these means?
